Just met up with a long time Friend, Blair Petrie, who along with many other Vancouver musicians contributed to the seminal STITCHING SMALL TEARS (long out of print on the original 90 minute tape but lovingly restored and released on a double CD-r a couple of years ago.
Well, after a hiatus of 2o years, Blair is doing music again. In preparation for a NEW album, he unearthed all kinds of tapes from the eighties and his various solo projects and incarnations that were either or simply left off due to space requirements. (it was a very prolific period for Blair)
the GOOD NEWS is he has released a FOUR lp set, in a slipcase , mini poster , booklet and great colourful Inner sleeves. Currently it's available via his website : blairpetrie.com and soon on DISCOGS as well.
Currently he's working on an electronic album with ALL NEW MATERIAL, which I for one can't wait to hear. In the meantime, check out this lovingly put together work "METEMSPYCHOSIS" - the unheard music.

Thou shalt go forth and fetch...….

This is professionally produced and not DIY sounding for sure. It contains a wide variety and complexity in sounds and is for sure demanding on listeners ears (from classic-inspired minimal electronic to Zappa-like free improv/jazz to guitar-orientated noise-walls.
